Up and until very lately I was someone who would read just about everything I could find on health. Most people who know me would probably have said I was a health freak. It's too easy to become obsessive in a field of your life when you have been obsessive an another and that was me because after being as fat as I was and then losing the weight, I wanted to stay that way.

I suppose I became a bit of an expert after reading all those articles on health, from all the standard diets to the crazy ones as well as items informing you how to extend your life. That's all changed now though because when I read an article on health now I just get angry because they keep changing their minds about what's good or bad for you. What I have finally figured out at such great pains is that, finally, my own life is my own responsibility. I am not going to stop reading articles on health because I still enjoy them but I don't intent to let them dictate how I should live my life. My experience with articles on health is that they do have some worthwhile information on exercising correctly and nutritional information but as for the remaining, well that will be up to me. Of course I want to get a healthier life and be happier at the same time but I believe it is now down to my judgment with little interference from the food police.
